Architectural Record is looking for the best emerging architecture firms from around the world to feature in our DESIGN VANGUARD issue. Although we do not have an age limit, we try to select architects and designers who have had their own practices for 10 years or less.

All architects registered in the United States or abroad, as well as interior designers working in collaboration with architects, are welcome to submit interiors-only projects that have been completed in the last year. Special consideration will be paid to works that incorporate innovations in design, program, building technology, sustainability, and/or materials.

Manufacturers and designers may submit items introduced in the U.S. A panel of architects and specifiers will judge the entries on criteria including innovation, functionality, and aesthetics.

The editors of ARCHITECTURAL RECORD announce the RECORD HOUSES awards program. Entry is open to any architect registered in the U.S. or abroad. Of particular interest are projects that incorporate innovation in program, building technology, materials, and form. Projects must be built and inhabited. They may be new construction or renovated and adaptive-reuse projects.

The April 11th issue will describe your company's newest (within the last 12 months) residential cooling equipment (usually split systems under 5 tons), while the May 2nd issue will introduce your company's latest commercial cooling equipment (usually split systems and packaged units over 5 tons). But your input is required in order for your new products to make it into these very important issues.

The September 12 issue will describe your company's newest (within the last 12 months) residential heating equipment, while the October 3 issue will introduce your company's newest commercial heating equipment. Products may include boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless units, or any other type of space heating equipment that requires installation by a contractor.
